PUBLIC NOTICE
In accordance with O.C.G.A. § 36-81-5 (f),
Appling County Board of Commissioners will hold a Public Budget Hearing for the FY’2027 Proposed Budget, at which time any persons wishing to be heard on the Proposed Budget may appear. This hearing will be held on Thursday, October 1st, 2026 beginning at 5:30 PM, in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room of the Courthouse Annex, located at 169 Tippins Street, Baxley, Georgia 31513. A copy of the FY’2027 Proposed Budget is available for public inspection during normal business hours, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday thru Friday, in the Administration Office of Appling County Board of Commissioners, 169 Tippins Street, Suite C, Baxley, Georgia 31513. The proposed budget is also available on the County website at www.applingcountyga.org.

Appling County Board of Commissioners will hold their regular monthly meeting on Thursday, October 8th, 2026 at 5:30 PM, which will include consideration to adopt the FY’2027 Proposed County Budget. This meeting will take place in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room of the Courthouse Annex, located at 169 Tippins Street, Baxley, Georgia 31513.
